Lobster Fishing - what a life! Can you imagine working on a lobster boat? the solitude, the strength, the pure vastness of the ocean! There the lobster men are pulling from the ocean trap after trap, hoping for the "pounder" or better and not a female bulging with eggs (although they need them or else there would be no future for lobstering). Each boat has its own buoy colors to identify their traps, their own area to fish, and their own crew. Many times it is a family tradition handed down generation by generation. Often they pilot boats that are refurbished year after year to make them seaworthy. Many have added special GPS systems to help them navigate especially in foggy weather. On those days you can't see where your next landlubber's step will take you much less what's ahead on the next wave!
